A couple of key points taken directly from the Grant Application Handbook:
Private business owners, as well as Tax-Exempt organizations, are eligible for grant funding
Projects must take place within an unincorporated area of East Kern County that has a Visioning Plan completed or in process
The total requested grant amount may not exceed $10,000 per grant application
Eligible projects include:
Signs - Painting - Landscaping - Awnings - Fencing - Windows - Façade Improvements - Infrastructure Improvements
Revitalize Mojave are planning on holding a workshop for those interested in applying, check back regularly for details of the workshop

September 20 – Randsburg Annual Old West Days & Bluegrass Jamboree
The 13th Annual Old West Days and Bluegrass Jamboree is free to the public, and is sponsored by the Rand Desert Museum, a non-profit agency. This family oriented one day event features bluegrass and country music entertainment, a classic car show, food, vendors, children's activities, old west shoot outs, and much, much more. September Calendar of Events
Preschool Story Time
Every Wednesday @ 10:30 AM
Enjoy an interactive and fun story time geared to preschoolers.
LEGO Club Program
Come Create and build using the Mojave Branch Library’s LEGOs! Build a creation based on the theme or build anything from your imagination!
Staff will display creations for the next week for all who come to the library to see!
Club meets twice a month on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month.
Children under 6 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Depending on interest and participation we will consider having a weekly LEGO club.
